TULLOW GOT TALENT
Calling all over 18 singers, musicians, comedians, dancers etc. Tullow Got Talent will be held in the Tara Arms, Tullow on Saturday 13th December to raise funds for the provision of defibrillators, locally. GRANGE ANNIVERSARIES: At times of the year there are a number of anniversaries co-inciding, and there is only a limited number of Sundays. It will be necessary therefore at times to share the Anniversary Masses, as is done in the other churches. It is hoped that this will be acceptable to all families concerned.
SPECIAL MASS: Rev. Michael Moloney, who has been familiarising himself again with the work of the priest, in this parish over the past few weeks, will be readmitted to priestly ministry as a priest of this diocese next Thursday. He will celebrate the 7.30 p.m. Mass in the Parish Church, Tullow on Friday next, December 12th. All are welcome.

CONGRATULATIONS: Congratulations to the Tullow winners in this year’s Carlow Person of the Year Awards: Betty McHutcheon, who not only won the Community Service Award but also was selected as the overall winner of Carlow Person of the Year 2008 and Brother Camillus who accepted the International Award on behalf of the Patrician Brothers.

CARLOW: History and Society
All are welcome to the launch of Carlow: History and Society, a major new book of 1,100 pages on the history of County Carlow (edited by Dr. Thomas McGrath) which is being launched in Carlow College– St. Patrick’s, College Street, Carlow (059 9153200) on Thursday 11th December at 7 p.m. by the President of the College, Fr. Kevin O’Neill.
