WE REMEMBER THEM

At the rising of the sun, and it’s going down,
We remember them.
At the blueness of the skies and in the warmth of summer,
We remember them.
At the rustling of the leaves and in the beauty of autumn,
We remember them.
At the blowing of the wind and the chill of winter,
We remember them.
When we lift our hearts to God in prayer,
We remember them.
As long as we live, they too will live,
for they are always part of us
As we remember them.

YOUR CHOIR NEEDS YOU!
Can you imagine Christmas Mass without Silent Night or Adeste Fideles? No? Do you enjoy hearing the Choir on a Sunday morning? Of course you do! But the choir can only continue if you help us! In Ardattin we rehearse for about 15 minutes before Mass on Sundays. Age is no barrier; all are welcome—and needed! The only requirement is that you would like to be part of a group who want to add to everyone’s enjoyment of attending Mass. Talk to any choir member and you’ll be most welcome! Come along, give it a try—we really want to keep the choir going—do you?

The Blind man said to Jesus:
“Master, let me see again”.
“The poor, are not there just to receive our charity:
They are sources of life and truth, peacemakers.
This, then, is the great secret of Jesus, hidden in the Gospels.

Many people see them as a sign of death, source of despair;
A problem, a burden, people to be pushed aside, perhaps, eliminated,
Forced to change their ways.

Jesus shows us that the poor can transform our hearts, fill us with light and compassion, if we are willing to accept to meet them and live in communion with them”.
Jean Vanier.

Mission Prayer
Blessed are you, Lord God of All creation.
Blessed are you, Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth and the Life.

of the magnificent enterprise that is God’s work.
We plant seeds that one day will grow.
We water seeds already planted, knowing that they
Hold future promise.

TULLOW PARISH
SAFEGUARGUARDING CHILDREN STATEMENT
The Parish of Tullow values and encourages the participation of children and young people in parish liturgies and activities that enhance their spiritual, physical, emotional, social and intellectual development, and will work in a partnership way with parents at all times.
The Gospel of Christ invites us to cherish and affirm each child as a gift from God with an inherent right to dignity of life and bodily integrity which shall be respected, nurtured and protected by all. Everyone in the Church has an obligation to ensure that the fundamental rights of children are respected.
In keep with this we in this parish undertake to do all in our power to create safe environments where the welfare of children and young people is paramount. This duty of care extends to all the many and varied ways that children share in the life of the Church in our parish and diocese.
