GRANGE ANNIVERSARIES: At times of the year there are a number of anniversaries co-inciding, and there is only a limited number of Sundays. It will be necessary therefore at times to share the Anniversary Masses, as is done in the other churches. It is hoped that this will be acceptable to all families concerned.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION. Next Sunday, the children from 2nd class from the Girls and Boys Schools in Tullow will receive their First Holy Communion at the 11.30 a.m. Mass in the Parish Church. Much of the seating in the Church will be reserved for the families concerned. This may cause some crowding at the Mass. We would, therefore, encourage families not involved in the First Communion to consider attending one of the other Masses in Tullow, Grange or Ardattin, if possible.
TULLOW I.C.A. Next Meeting on Monday 18th May in Teagasc at 8 p.m. Members are asked to bring along an old saying or adage in handwriting.

THANK YOU: Brenda Quigley and family would sincerely like to thank all who sympathised with them on the death of John. Thank you to all our family and friends who visited John in the hospital and who have been very supportive to us during John’s illness. A special word of thanks to all who participated in John’s funeral mass especially Fergus Mernagh and James Quigley for the wonderful music. Thank you also to everyone who made donations to the Carlow Kilkenny Homecare Team and The District Hospital Carlow which amounted to €560 and was divided equally.

FETEC COURSE IN TULLOW COMMUNITY SCHOOL: We are hoping to run a Fetac Level 5 Module Caring for Children 0-6, in September. This may take place on a Wednesday night from 7—10 p.m. Places will be limited to 15 and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. If you are interested in doing this course, please get your name on the list by contacting Martina Fogarty at Tullow Community School on 9151473.
CONGRATULATIONS to all the estates in County Carlow Litter Action League. The Cairdeas Centre won 1st in Individual award.
Tullow Town won 4th in their category.
The following estates won prizes:
1st Steepleview Cresent.
Runner Up: Rathphelim.
Semi finalists won prizes which were Shillelagh Grove and Hillbrook Estate.
Estates who achieved 95 marks won awards, namely The Links, Courtlawns and Bellwood Drive.
Tullow Tidy Towns Committee would like to thank all who took part in the competition.
St. Patrick’s G.F.C. Lά na gclub: The club would like to thank all who helped to make the day such a wonderful success. Thanks to all who helped organise and to those who participated in the mass, to those who helped organise and referee the underage games and also to those who provided refreshmnets on the day.
