DEANERY FOLK GROUP: A new folk Group is being formed involving young people from the parishes in the deanery. The Folk group will be participating at Masses in our local parishes during the summer months. Rehearsals are on Wednesday nights. FETEC COURSE IN TULLOW COMMUNITY SCHOOL: We are hoping to run a Fetac Level 5 Module Caring for Children 0-6, in September. This may take place on a Wednesday night from 7—10 p.m. Places will be limited to 15 and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. If you are interested in doing this course, please get your name on the list by contacting Martina Fogarty at Tullow Community School on 9151473.

TULLOW GOLFING SOCIETY will have their next outing to Coolattin Golf Club on Wednesday 3rd June. Tee times are from 1.45 to 3.30 p.m.
We are expecting a number of visitors from Wales to join us for an afternoons golf. A good turnout from our members would be nice.

TULLOW BOWLS CLUB ARI would like to thank the Bowls members for their help and kind donations to their fun day in aid of Tullow Day Care Centre. A special thanks to Carmel and Dan Dawson, Maria Scannell, Kay Jordan, Sharon Maher and Rebecca Maher, Leighlinbridge Bowls, Borris Bowls and all who travelled to join us. Also congratulations to Paddy Doyle and Tom Kealy who won the Trophies on the day. A fantastic sum of €1,100 was raised.

DIOCESAN YOUTH PILGRIMAGE to Croagh Patrick for young people over 15 years of age on Saturday 4th July, 2009. Leaving early morning, returning late evening. Cost €10 per person. BTEI (Back to Education Initiative) Taster Session in Teach Bride on Monday 25th May at 11 a.m.
BTEI Co-ordinator and BTEI tutors of the Community Fetac Level 5 course will be in attendance. The tutors will give a brief outline of the following FETAC Level 5 Modules.

There is no charge for the taster session. EVERYONE IS WELCOME. The BTEI Co-ordinator will be available to give information on other courses available in the BTEI centre and in the Tullow area.
